BIG REAL ESISTE DEAL CONCLUDED One of the most important real estate deals to take place in this county was the sale of the Euclid Heights farm, located on the Eu clid Heights' road. This farm was sold by Mr' A. C. Hathaway to C. T. Scott and Mes srs. S. W. Scott, W. G. Copper smith and W. F. Jennings. The money consideration va6 ovtr$15,-000. Mr. C. T. Scott purchased that. part of the farm noT occupied by Mr. J. J. White, and for which he paid nearly ten thousand dollars. Messss. Scott, Coppersmith and Jen nings bought that part of thjfarm that liee next to the county home. Mr. C T. Scott will occupy his part of the farm and will conduct farming enterprises on an extensive scale. YOUNG NUN KILLED AN ACCIDENT News from Hickory last Monday stated that a young man named Henry Williams, the son of Mr. Williams, of Belcross Camden Co , was killed in an accident in the lumber woods at that place. The remains Nof Mrs. James Til Ion, of Mackeys' Ferry, passed through the city last Saturday en route to Norfolk for interment. The remains were accompanied from this city by Captain and Mrs. A. Li. Cohoon Mrs. Dillon was the widow pf the late James Dillon, a brother of Mrs. A. L. Cohoon, of this city. She was 55 years a old od is sur vived by two daughters. She was an eatimaole woman.
